Train to Bristol & Bristol - Aug 18

Made it to the train station in Plymouth and what a mess that was. It was packed and our luggage ended up spread all over. But since we got on the train before anyone, we got some luggage spaces. Train ride was uneventful and we got to Bristol in plenty of time. Got a taxi to the AirBnB and went in. It is a very nice lower apartment and quite large. After settling, took a walk to find a store and did some shopping. We were located near the University of Bristol so here were many eateries and shops. Went to a beautiful gallery with many varied displays.

We were there quite awhile and we were getting hungry, so we returned to the apartment and had some snacks and plotted our course for the next day.
We decided to take a bus to the city center and work our way from there.

The first bus driver said I couldn’t get on because I needed a permit for the mobility scooter. We told him we were tourists, but he didn’t care. The next bus driver didn’t even mention anything about a permit and it was a nice ride. I decided to collapse the Transformer after that.
Then we walked around enjoying the floating harbor and stopped in the tourist information center and got a walking guide. Took a walk following the guide for awhile and then decided that was taking too much time so we stopped for lunch at a cafe.
Then visited a ship and a museum.
