On Sunday we went to the Thyssen museum in Madrid.
They had a display of the “Old Masters” and others depicting how Balenciaga designed and created dresses and other vestments based on inspiration from the paintings.
Spanish Couturier Cristobol Balenciaga was known as the master of “Haute Couture”. An inspiration for those who follow in his footsteps, his work continues to shape fashion today.
