From Bristol to Bath

After scratching the surface of Bristol's cultural life, we packed our bags again and headed to Bath by taxi. It is only 10 or 12 miles away, so we were there early enough to settle in our next airbnb.
It is a nice little house, in a suburb of Bath, full of Indian flavor. (The house, not the suburb). Jerry will add the pictures, my phone takes forever.
We went out to explore straightaway. Found a nice bike and walking path along the river and decided to follow it until we walked into downtown Bath. A bit confusing at first; like all ancient cities, there is no urban grid, streets were cobbled and eventually paved over footpaths. Add to that the lack of street signs...but we didn't get too lost.
After a fantastic Thai lunch we went to the Roman Baths. How fascinating to be in the kind of rooms I've only read about: tepidarium, caldarium, etc.
It was not only a spa, it was also an important center for religious ceremonies.
Guess that's all for now. Cheers!
