A Free Day on Friday August 9th and Saturday.

Yesterday we took a walk into town so the ladies could get new swimming suits. Today they will go to the pool and soak up some sun and relax. Unfortunately, Irene will be leaving tomorrow.
While the ladies were getting cooked, I stayed with Fernanda and I actually slept most of the day. I had been a little under the weather and needed it.
The “girls’ got a bit of a burn in spite of the sunblock.
Karol’s mom, Yolanda, came over and visited in the evening.
All in all, a restful day.
As I mentioned, Irene was leaving on Saturday so we drove her to the airport and, apparently, the flight was fine and on time. We miss you already Irene.
Later we went to a restaurant with Karol and Fernanda and had a nice meal.
At some point, I had wanted to do a photo shoot of the unfinished cathedral in Mejorada del Campo. This is one of the attractions that is noted here. The cornerstone reads “Templo Consagrado A La Madre de Dios Ntsa Sara Del Pilar”
