On Friday, May 24th, having been delivered to the Brooklyn Pier by Maria, we set sail for Southampton, United Kingdom on the Queen Mary 2.
Immediately we were "off the grid", no WI-Fi or cell service, what an awesome feeling! The weather was chilly and windy, not actually a time for swimming.
In the evening we enjoyed our special supper at table 322 and met our new friends. There is May, Chris, Sharon Ann, Margret, Sheila, and Ethel. what a fun group. They all had made the trip from Southampton on the Queen Mary and then are returning to Southampton.
Lilia and I then went to the theatre and experienced the song and dance of the on-board Troop. We wandered around the ship getting more familiar during the rest of the evening.

Arrived in Southampton!
We have just arrived in Southampton, United Kingdom. We were off the grid all week. That was so nice. Now we're just waiting on the ship for an opportunity to disembark. We will be going on a tour of Stonehenge. Then we will go to a airbnb in a place called Hedges end. Then I will update this blog with the week's worth of news.
