El Escorial

On Wednesday we trekked (by train) on down to visit the Monastery in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. This is also  the historical residence of the king of Spain. Oh, did I forget to mention that it is also contains 600 years of Spanish kings, buried in a secret room below.
