And, of course to celebrate, we went to Edinburgh Castle.
But first, let me tell you how the day began.
Got up early and made coffee. Then I noticed that it was only 5:45, so I let Lilia sleep.
I checked the mail and wasted some time on the iPad while sipping my coffee. At some point after Lilia got out of bed, I got up to do something and the coffee cup fell onto the keyboard and left a small puddle of coffee. Luckily the keyboard is stand-alone and sealed. Wiped off the puddle of coffee and all is well.
Actually, right this minute, Lilia has decided that I needed a sip of Edinburgh Castle Single Malt Whiskey to warm me up. It works, but I don’t think I am warmer, but just numb. 😃☺️

We hung out there all afternoon and saw so much, even though it was cold. I could get access to everything and more.
We then retraced our steps along the Royal Mile and decided to catch a bus back. Have to pack, since we will be gone all day tomorrow on a bus to see Nessie.
