Dover Castle

Today was a very blustery day. A lot more wind, but a little warmer with some occasional sprinkles.
We went into Dover for a 10am haircutting appointment for Lilia. It was at “The Charmaine” on Cannon Street. That is where I my haircut yesterday and they did a fantastic job. Well, the hairdresser who cut Lilia’s hair did an awesome job also.
Then we went to St. Mary the Virgin Church across the street. This church is actually older than I am.

Then we went for a bite at The Eight Bells back across the street. Good food. Since this is really Weatherspoons, see why it is called “The Eight Bells”. It has something to do with the Church we visited.

Then, since our parking time was about to run out, we decided to head over to Dover Castle and look around. What an amazing place and in such great repair. The view of the town and port was breathtaking, as were the high winds.

Decided to head home then even though it was still early and plan for our Canterbury excursion tomorrow. Got tickets for the Chaucer tour and the Canterbury Castle.

Well, all that’s for Thursday.
Have a good night and day!
