Friday the 13th in Dover

Sadly, two more days until our ship leaves.
Went down to the pier today to check out where it will be. I know it’s on the way to Dover from Liverpool and will be here at 7:30am on Sunday. We have to board in the early afternoon.
Looking forward to meeting Mickey and friends.
It’s been an amazing summer here in Europe. Met so many nice people and got to visit with some of the students (and their families)  who stayed with us over the years. I can’t think of anything more meaningful than those experiences this summer.

Today we went to the movies at the Cineworld theater in Dover to see the opening day of Downton Abbey. The venue is only a year and a half old. Very pristine and comfortable.

Downton Abby was just as expected (I will not reveal since it isn’t out in the US yet), a typical soap or maybe a “chick flick”.

Then we took a stroll along the harbor side and remarked about the beauty of the project. Watched the ferry boats arrive and depart.

After a bit, decided to head back and get the wash ready for tomorrow.

Good evening.
