HARRY POTTER DAY

Well, today is the big day! Going to the Warner Bros. Universal Studio Tour “The Making of Harry Potter”
https://www.wbstudiotour.co.uk/
It all started like this. I got tickets online on July 26th for the tour at the studio. Unbeknownst to me, the studio is a ways out of London. Since I got tickets for the 9:00 am timed entry, we had to be there early. Of course, since we are early people, we got a cab in front of where we are staying to the train station. Then the train to Watford Junction, then there is supposed to be a shuttle to the studio in Leavesden, but they didn’t start running until 9:30, so we had to take a cab to the studio. Since we were so early, we couldn’t even get past the gate so we went to a coffee shop (that wasn’t open) and walked back to the studio. This time we just walked right in (about 8:15am) and the guard came over and checked our confirmation number. We then went to the machine to get the actual tickets because the ticket office wasn’t open yet.
Went in and I decided to walk this time, so checked in the scooter and we started on the tour. IT IS AWESOME and I am not even a Harry Potter fanatic! We were there until 3:00 pm and that was pushing it. Remember, this tour is about the making of all the movies.
Couple suggestions: start with the 9:00am entry, because if you want to see and read it all, you will need the time.
Either get a tour FROM London or be sure you have an idea of how you will get to the studios, or have a car.
